Mind Matters Hypnotherapy Disclaimer
Hypnotherapy can be a powerful tool to help address a range of issues. However, if you choose to work with me, it is important to understand the following:
Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for medical care.
Please note that this website is intended for informational purposes only and does not provide medical advice. Under no circumstances should hypnotherapy or the techniques used within it be considered a replacement for professional medical consultation. Hypnotherapy serves as a complementary therapy, supporting but not replacing, conventional healthcare. It is essential that you seek guidance from your GP or another qualified healthcare provider as needed.
Success depends on your commitment.
While hypnotherapy can yield quick results, it is not a magic solution. To achieve the best outcomes, your motivation and commitment to change are crucial. This may involve completing tasks such as listening to provided audio recordings or engaging in other activities designed to support the therapeutic process. Without this dedication, the effectiveness of the therapy may be significantly reduced. In short, hypnotherapy requires active participation from you.
No guarantees of success.
Your willingness to embrace change is a key factor in the success of hypnotherapy. As a therapist, I cannot guarantee results—only you can do that. Hypnosis cannot force you to do anything against your will. However, I can promise to use my skills and expertise to assist you to the best of my ability throughout the process.
A client-centred approach.
Each person responds differently to hypnosis, and the rate of success can vary. Some clients may see significant improvements after one or two sessions, while others may need more time, especially if other issues emerge during therapy. On average, I work with clients for three to four sessions, though this can vary based on individual needs.
Safety with audio downloads.
If you are using audio downloads, it is essential to do so in a safe environment. Do not listen while driving or operating machinery. If you have epilepsy or any mental health condition, please consult a medical professional before using these audio resources, as deep relaxation and the suggestions provided could have unintended effects.
If you have any further questions, feel free to get in touch via the contact us page. I'm here to help!
