Therapy isn’t always easy. Whether you’re breaking a habit, moving on from a difficult relationship, or working through trauma, you don’t have to face it alone. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore challenges, build trust, and begin to heal at your own pace.
I’m an integrative, mindfulness-based therapist, drawing on a range of approaches to find what works best for you. I believe it’s the relationship that heals—and my focus is always on creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood.
My own journey began with lived experience of trauma that shaped much of my childhood, teens, and twenties—and ultimately inspired me to help others. Through my own therapy, I came to see how limiting labels can be, often boxing us into identities that don’t allow for growth. That insight shaped my belief that people should have the freedom to define themselves, to redefine, and to reimagine their lives. My work is about supporting that process of growth and change.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 20 years in the global energy sector, working in high-pressure environments. That experience gave me a deep understanding of human behaviour and resilience—skills I now integrate into my therapeutic work.
Based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, I work online with clients worldwide and also deliver workplace wellbeing workshops and programmes in-person. My approach is holistic, compassionate, and always tailored to you—because there’s no “one size fits all” in mental health.
For me, mental health isn’t just about overcoming struggles—it’s about thriving. I’m here to support your journey towards growth, healing, and peace of mind.
At Mind Matters, I take a holistic approach to therapy, considering the physical, emotional, and social factors that shape mental health. My aim is to help clients build the skills and resilience they need to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and balance.
I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, offering tailored support to meet both individual and organisational needs. For individuals, I provide one-to-one sessions, ensuring truly personalised care. I also run group sessions, particularly focused on mindfulness-based practices.
Alongside individual therapy, I collaborate with businesses to promote workplace wellbeing. My corporate workshops and training sessions are designed to enhance resilience, reduce stress, and foster a positive, supportive work environment. By integrating mindfulness, stress management tools, and therapeutic strategies, I help employees and leaders develop healthier coping mechanisms and a more balanced approach to both professional and personal demands.
